Post-Baccalaureate
If you already hold a bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university and do not wish to complete the requirements for a certificate, associate's, or second baccalaureate degree, you may be admitted to Clayton State University on a post-baccalaureate basis.
Application Requirements
There are two ways to complete an application for admissions. Apply online via GA Futures or download a paper application.
A paper application must be completed if submitting an application fee waiver. Fee waivers cannot be attached to the online application at this time. Access our Fee Waiver policy for more details.

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable $40.00 application fee. Online applicants must use a credit or debit card to pay the application fee.
Post-baccalaureate applicants must submit an official transcript from the degree-granting institution.
Official transcripts must have the institution’s seal and must be presented in an unopened official envelope from the sending institution.

We currently accept electronic transcripts from E-Transcript providers such as:
- eSCRIP (for students with existing eSCRIP accounts)
- Clearinghouse
- Parchment
If your previous school(s), college(s), or universities offer this service, submit official transcripts to: transcripts@clayton.edu .
International Credentials
You must submit all official transcripts from your high school. All transcripts must be in English; if not in English, they must be translated by a certified company. Please submit the certified translations along with your original official transcripts in the indigenous language.
Clayton State University requires that all international academic documents (transcripts, mark sheets, certificates, leaving examination results, etc.) be formally evaluated by an independent evaluation service, which can be found below:

Federal guidelines prohibit students from receiving state and federal financial aid or VA education benefits if you are not enrolled as a regular student seeking a degree or certification.
If you are seeking a second degree or certification, you should apply as a transfer student.
Important Note
Post-baccalaureate is an undergraduate student type. If you have earned a bachelor's degree and you plan to enroll in graduate classes, submit an application for graduate admission.

It is recommended that post-baccalaureate students declare a different major from the program in which they have already earned a bachelor's degree.
