Housing Important Dates & Deadlines

Fall Semester 2024

  • February 1, 2024: New student applications open
  • March 15, 2024: Summer Application Priority Deadline
  • April 15, 2024: Priority Deadline for Fall Semester 2024
  • April 16-18: Laker Village Residents Keeping Same Room Will be Assigned
  • April 22, 2024: Laker Village Room Selection Period begins
  • July 1, 2024: Laker Village Room Selection period ends
  • August 8: Move-in Day for Laker Hall, 11AM – 7PM.
  • Move in for all housing fees paid ONLY and fulltime enrolled residents
  • August 9: Move-in Day for Laker Village (new/returning residents), 11AM – 7PM.
  • Move in for all housing fees paid ONLY and fulltime enrolled residents  
  • August 10: Move-in Day for All residents (new/returning residents), 11AM – 2PM.
  • Move in for all housing fees paid ONLY and fulltime enrolled residents  
  • August 12: Fall Semester Weekday Classes Begin. Move-in from 9AM – 4PM.
  • August 12 – 30: Housing No Show and Roster Verification period
  • September 2: University Housing office closed in observance of Labor Day
  • September 15: Spring 2025 housing application open for New Residents
  • October 4: Second Session Move-in Day
  • October 5-8: Fall Break
  • November 20-24: Thanksgiving Break
  • December 10: Final Move-out Day for Graduating Senior and Spring Cancellations

Spring Semester 2025

  • January 10: Laker Hall and Laker Village new move-ins for Spring 2023, 9a.m.-4p.m.
  • January 10 – 31: Housing No Show and Roster Verification period
  • February 1: Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 Applications are available (Renewing and New students)

Summer Semester 2025

  • May 23: Move-in Day for Summer 2025 Residents, 9AM – 4PM
  • May 27: Summer Semester Weekday Classes Begin
  • May 26: University Housing office closed in observance of Memorial Day
  • June 19: University Housing office closed in observance of Juneteenth
  • TBD: Summer Bridge/ Early Start Freshman Move-in Day at Laker Hall, 9AM - 4PM.
  • July 4: University Housing office closed in observance of Independence Day
  • July 30: Move-out Day for Summer 2023 Residents. All residents must be move out by 12PM (noon)
  • TBD: Break Housing period (Financial Aid cannot cover this fee.)
