SACS Quality Enhancement Plan
Every ten years colleges and schools accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) are required to develop a 5 year Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) that focuses on enhancing student learning in a area of perceived need. Clayton State University will go through its accreditation reaffirmation in 2014 and will select a topic to develop for its QEP.
Initial Topic Development Survey
The SACS Reaffirmation Leadership Team met in January 2012 and identified 5 overall themes that could serve as springboards for potential specific QEP topics. These themes were gleaned from the University Strategic Plan, Complete College Georgia and our commitment to the AAC&U LEAP Initiative. Following the timeline for QEP development, the University Community was surveyed and asked to rank the themes as well as provide feedback on more focused topics that could be further developed. Below are links to the executive summary and the full report of the survey results.
QEP Committee
The QEP Committee was selected representatives across the campus including faculty, staff, and students. The committee was originally charged with using the results of the survey and feedback from several all campus meetings to better frame the final topic for the Quality Enhancement Plan and to create the overall plan. Below are the minutes from the committee meetings.
