Legal Studies Curriculum
All Legal Studies and Paralegal Studies students are required to take at least nine semester credits or equivalent of legal specialty courses through face-to-face or online synchronous instruction. Transfer students must provide proof of such credits taken elsewhere.
Note to B.S., Legal Studies and A.S., Paralegal Studies majors:
Paralegal Certificate Add-On Option – We suggest that students who are completing a B.S. degree in Legal Studies or an A.S.
in Paralegal Studies add the Paralegal Certificate as a secondary curriculum. Some
employers now list a certificate as a job requirement. Students will be able to complete
the certificate requirements as they complete the B.S. or A.S.
