Intro to Bento: GALILEO's new look (a Library workshop)

Bento is here! The GALILEO team has turned on bento box searching for all users. Their developers have worked on this for a year, along with several other new features.

The bento box method is intended to make finding information easier, quicker, and more intuitive. It is so named because it resembles the popular Japanese lunch box that divides food into perfectly portioned compartments. Now in beta, GALILEO’s bento box search is expected to become the default later this year.

In this workshop, Electronic Resources Librarian, Jim Rickerson, will present the key changes to the redesign and demonstrate how to make the most of the new search method. All registrants will receive a recording of the event regardless of attendance.
