The Laker Wildlife Initiative is committed to hands-on, experiential learning that prepares students and professionals for real-world challenges in wildlife crime investigation and conservation.

At Clayton State University, our training opportunities include:

• CSI Lab Experience: Our on-campus CSI Lab offers individuals the chance to work on mock crime scenes and use authentic forensic and investigative tools, building practical skills in evidence collection, scene documentation, and analytical techniques.
• Commitment to Growth: While our current facilities support robust experiential training, we are actively seeking funding to further develop and expand our CSI Lab into a leading training center for wildlife crime and forensic investigation.
• Empowering Future Leaders: Through these efforts, we aim to ensure that our students and community partners have access to state-of-the-art resources and training, empowering the next generation of leaders in wildlife protection and justice.
