Staff Council Mission

Serves

Staff Council serves the employees of Clayton State by offering professional development activities, scholarship opportunities, and a forum through which to voice concerns.

Performs

Staff Council performs by acting as an advocate for all members of the Clayton State staff. Monthly meetings provide a forum through which to discuss concerns and receive information.

Supports

Staff Council supports the Clayton State staff through three standing committees: Elections, Professional Development, and Special Events. 

 

The purpose of Staff Council is:

  • To participates in the process of university governance by acting in an advisory capacity to the University President
  • To represent all members of the Clayton State staff
  • To facilitate communication throughout the University
