The Film and Digital Media Center at Clayton State University has scheduled three information sessions leading up to its fall 2015 classes.
The information sessions will be held on Saturday, July, 18, Saturday, Aug. 1 and Saturday, Aug. 15. All three will be held at the Film and Digital Media Center’s film studio, located in Lucy Huie Hall, 9013 Tara Blvd., Jonesboro. The July 18 session will begin at 1 p.m., and the Aug. 1 session at 10 a.m. The starting time for the Aug. 15 will be 1 p.m.

Fall classes start on Monday, Sept. 21 with two sessions of Digital Film Tech I, a daytime class running Mondays and Wednesdays (along with two Saturdays) from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. for 12 weeks; and an evening class, also Mondays and Wednesdays (also plus two Saturdays), from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for 12 weeks.
Digital Film Tech II, which includes OSHA-10 for the film industry, will start Tuesday, Sept. 22 and run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., plus a minimum of four Saturdays, also for 12 weeks.
In addition to the Film Tech classes, the Film and Digital Media Center will offer Post Production Film Editing: Intro to Editing, also for 12 weeks starting Sept. 22, on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
New this semester from the Film and Digital Media Center will be five-week “Set Builder” and “Storyboarding” classes. More information on these two classes will be provided at the information sessions, which are also being used to gauge interest in these two programs.
All classes will break during the week of Thanksgiving.
