Ten Clayton State Lakers earned All-Conference honors in the New South Athletic Conference’s inaugural season

Ten players from Clayton State Lakers football team were named to the New South Athletic Conference All-Conference teams after the league's inaugural season. Sire Hardaway, Savion West, Darrall Bland Jr, Cendray Dixon, Davion McGill, Maxton Patterson, and Charles Gordon were each named to the first team. Danirion Moxey, Clinton Rafe, and Matthew Faulkner earned second team accolades. Clayton State's Sire Hardaway was named the Offensive Player of the Year, while the Lakers also had Darrell Bland, Jr., named Special Teams Player of the Year.

Offensive Player of the Year/1st Team NSAC #2 QB Sire Hardaway- Completed 106/164 with a complete rate of 64.6% Passing 1730 Yards 22 TDS 4 INT

1st Team NSAC

  • #1 WR Savion West- 20 Rec for 596 Yards 8 TDS AVG 29.8/Rec

  • #52 Cendray Dixon- QB of Oline that averaged 41 points/game and did not give up any sacks entire season. 

  • #70 RG Davion McGill- 10 Pancakes and did not give up any sacks entire season.

  • #14 LB Maxton Patterson- 54 Tackles, 1 Int, 2 PBU, 2 Sacks, 2 Fumble Recoveries (1 returned for 18 Yard TD).

  • #3 S Charles Gordon- 45 Tackles, 2 INT, 6 PBU, and 1 Sack

  • Special Team Player of the Year #11 Darrell Bland Jr. 13 Returns for 328 Yards 2 TD AVG 25 Per Return on the season.

2nd Team NSAC

  • #0 WR Danirion Moxey- 22 Rec for 496 Yards 5 TDS AVG 22.5 Yards/Rec 

  • #6 WR Clinton Rafe – 22 Rec for 468 Yards 3 TDS AVG 21.2 Yards/Rec 

  • #5 WR Matthew Faulkner- 20 Rec for 342 Yards 3 TDS AVG 17.1/Rec C
