Clayton State Football Inaugural Season Schedule is set.

Clayton State is set to open the 2024 campaign at home for the first time in school history, where the Lakers are set to take on the Southwest Florida Tech, who are coming off back to back Gulf Division championships. Game time will be at 7 p.m on September 14.

After taking on Southwest Florida Tech, the Lakers are set to take on Andrew College. The Fighting Tigers are entering their first year under new head coach Nick Garrett as a new member of NCJAA D-1 member. The Lakers and Fighting Tigers will meet on Saturday, September 21 at 2 p.m.

Clayton State will get on the road in Week 3, traveling to Central Georgia Tech to take on the defending National Club Football Champions/new NCJAA D-1 member. The kickoff is set for September 28 at 1 p.m.

The Lakers will stay on the road in Week 4 to travel to 2022 NCFA National Champions Gordon State College. The 2024 contest is set for October 5 at 2 p.m.

Following a tough road stretch, Clayton State will be back home and is set to take on Winthrop University. Game time is set for 2 p.m on October 12.

The Lakers will stay home in Week 7 versus Columbus State University. Expect the atmosphere to be electric as Columbus State is a rival game and its Alumni/Greek Day. Game time is set for 2 p.m. on October 19.

In Week 8, Clayton State will host final the regular season home game against Atlantis University. Kickoff between the two schools will take place October 26 at 2 p.m.

Clayton State will finish the regular traveling to top ranked NCJAA D-1 Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia. Kickoff time is set for 1 p.m. on November 2.
