Program Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Process
The degree granting program faculty members at Clayton State are responsible for the development of all learning outcomes and have worked in teams to develop sets of outcomes that reflect the unique character of their disciplines. Each academic program is required to have an assessment plan that includes student learning outcomes, a curriculum mapping matrix for the outcomes, a data collection plan, identification of an area of program improvement, and results of student achievement of the learning outcomes.
Additionally, after the launch of the Strategic Plan 2030 a section was added to the report to assess program alignment to the workforce since one of the goals of the strategic plan is building academic and career pathways.
Reporting Template
We will no longer use a paper reporting template. Starting in 2026 all program coordinators will enter their program assessment reports into the Nuventive application which can be found here: https://solutions.nuventive.com/ Users can login with their CSU credentials.
