Partnering Academics and Community Engagement

Community is just as important as academic success to us at Clayton State. To enhance student learning, we’ve developed Partnering Academics and Community Engagement (PACE), which combines classroom learning with community-based engagement.

Faculty choose to incorporate PACE projects into their curriculum, giving students the opportunity to take what they’ve learned in textbooks and lectures, and apply it in the real-world through collaboration with community partners.

PACE makes learning come alive by using academics to create solutions that better our local community.
