Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) and Master of Science in Cyber Technology (MSCT)
The Combined BIT-MSCT Program is an accelerated program that allows students to earn both a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) and a Master of Science in Cyber Technology (MSCT) in 5 years. It is also called a 4 + 1 program offering significant cost savings, accelerated career entry, and the ability to double-count graduate credits toward undergraduate requirements.
Graduate of this program will be able to:
- Use and apply current IT discipline-related concepts and practices
- Identify and analyze problems or opportunities in the IT realm and define requirements for addressing them when an IT solution is appropriate
- Design and develop effective IT-based solutions and integrate them into the user environment
- Create and implement effective project plans
- Identify and investigate current and emerging technologies and assess their applicability to address individual and organizational needs
- Analyze the impact of technology on individuals, organizations, and society
