Clayton State University, Atlanta Technical College sign student-centered MOU

(April 9, 2024) - Clayton State University and Atlanta Technical College further strengthened their relationship on Friday, March 22, 2024, after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to bolster educational opportunities for their respective student bodies.

By aligning their curricula and resources in numerous high-demand fields, the MOU articulation agreement between Clayton State and ATC is set to enhance academic studies in the following six key areas:

·      Cybersecurity

·      Computer Programming

·      Database Specialist

·      Networking Specialist

·      Bioscience Technology

·      Interdisciplinary Studies

This collaborative agreement, signed by Dr. Georj Lewis, president of Clayton State University, and Dr. Victoria Seals, president of Atlanta Technical College, aims to streamline the transfer process and create a seamless pathway for students looking to further their education between both institutions.  

Dr. Lewis expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, "We are excited to work closely with Atlanta Technical College to create a seamless transfer process that benefits our students and strengthens our community. This partnership signifies our shared commitment to student success and workforce development." 

Dr. Seals agreed with Lewis, further speaking on the importance of building strong pathways between institutions. 

"This agreement represents a significant step towards fostering academic excellence and empowering our students to reach their full potential,” she said. “We are proud to collaborate with Clayton State University in providing students with more opportunities for growth and achievement."
