Clayton State University continues to seek ways to meet the goals of today’s workforce by offering education to individuals at any time in their career. The University has announced it is offering employees with the Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO) the opportunity to pursue a business degree.
The agreement between the University and GEICO establishes a corporate reimbursement program whereby employees can earn an undergraduate Bachelors of Business Administration degree with majors in General Business or Management at Clayton State’s College of Business.
Dr. Avinandan Mukherjee, Dean of the College of Business, says, "Amongst the only 5% of top global business schools fully accredited by AACSB International, the College of Business at Clayton State University is committed to engagement, innovation and impact through meaningful partnerships with local businesses and high quality degree programs that offer flexibility, convenience and value to non-traditional students and working professionals. Corporate partnerships such as the one with GEICO are potentially enriching to both partners as it is possible to design customized courses, personalized advising, and streamlined processing for the working students to maximize the educational outcomes."
Courses offered to GEICO employees will be taught entirely online. This program is offered to those who work in GEICO's Macon, GA office, the largest regional office in the country, responsible for over 6,200 employees in 15 states.
