MailChimp, the world’s largest marketing automation platform, is partnering with the College of Information and Mathematical Sciences at Clayton State University to make dreams real for students who aspire to high demand careers in computer science, information technology and mathematics.

Throughout the year, MailChimp Scholars will have opportunities to interact with MailChimp professionals at Clayton State and the Ponce City Market office to learn about the organization and the skills needed for future career success in high-tech fields.

Scholarships

Students will receive a total of $2500* during the 2019-20 academic year — $1250 in Fall 2018 and $1250 in Spring 2020. Students can earn the MailChimp scholarship in addition to HOPE and other financial aid awards.

What does it take to be a MailChimp Scholar?

  • Be a full-time student at Clayton State
  • Be a Computer Science, Information Technology or Mathematics major
  • Have an institutional Clayton State GPA of 2.85 or higher or if applicable a cumulative high school or a transfer GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Class schedules permitting, MailChimp Scholars will be expected to attend several MailChimp activities throughout the year.
  • All applications will be considered, but preference is given to Latino, Vietnamese or Laotian students
