The Testing Center--Where Preparation Meets Achievement

Please feel free to visit the Testing Center Store to select the date/time and register for the exam of your choice.

All standardized testing--including college entrance exams, placement exams, exit testing, and program-specific entrance tests--are handled by the Testing Center. Services also include independent study (distance learning) exams, TOEFL, GACE, and other program testing. We do not administer faculty exams.  

If the University is closed due to weather or other event, the Testing Center is closed. 

Additional Testing Information

  • For information on dates and times of a major test, click on the appropriate link on the left side of this web page, stop by the Testing Center in Room 121 of Arbor Hall, or call (678) 466-4495. 
  • All testing fees are non-refundable.
  • To take any test, you must bring a photo ID--we strongly recommend that you study and prepare so that you will be successful.  Some tests require very strict identification, so you must follow the procedures of your test.
  • Testing is by appointment only. Please visit our testing center webpage at www.clayton.edu/testing to schedule an appointment.
  • If a student is observed cheating, he or she will not be allowed to finish the test and the scores will be voided in accordance with the Student Handbook, Student Conduct Code, & Academic Misconduct.
  • No food or drinks are allowed in the testing labs.
  • Hats, head coverings, calculators, headphones, music devices, cell phones, Bluetooth devices, smart watches, or any type of study aides are not permitted in the testing labs.
  • Students will be provided with an assigned locker for all personal belongings. 
  • The Testing Center is not liable for any lost or stolen items.
  • There is no talking once the tester begins their test.
  • Testing staff are available to assist with computer use; staff may not assist with answering test questions.
  • Scratch paper must be returned to the Proctor before exiting the Testing Center.
  • Visitors, children, spouses, family, or friends are not allowed in the Testing Center.
  • Items left behind will be donated or thrown away within 30 days per University Policy.

Monday - Tuesday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday-Thursday  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
