Sessions and Tuition Payment

Sessions and Tuition Payment Policies

Please follow the Music Preparatory School’s current Calendar for registration/payment due dates and CSU official Holidays, Fall and Spring Breaks’ dates. Payments received after the due date will be subject to a $25.00 late fee.

The Music Preparatory School enrollment is divided by five sessions: Fall Session 1 and 2, Spring Session 1 and 2, and Summer Session. The Summer Session is usually more flexible and is distributed between months of June and July. Students are enrolled and charged for the entire session, for example, for Fall Session 1.

Students are charged for all session’s lessons/classes including those missed due to student absence. Registration is accepted throughout the semester based on an instructor’s availability.

Summer session

The length of break between the close of lessons in the spring and the beginning of lessons in the fall is long, especially for younger children. For this reason, our summer session is a necessity, and we encourage all students to enroll in summer. Not only is summer an excellent time to move ahead in all areas, but it also makes progress possible in the fall without extensive review. Recognizing the need for vacation time during the summer, the student is given more flexibility to reschedule lessons during the summer semester. Please follow the School’s Calendar for upcoming summer session dates.
