Master Classes & Residencies
Sponsored by the Spivey Hall Friends with additional support from South Arts, MASTER CLASSES are led by internationally recognized artists with a desire to encourage others in their field. Master classes provide a glimpse into the lives of talented artists and can enhance a performer’s understanding of music. These events are suitable for all music-lovers seeking a deeper appreciation for how performers bring great music to life.
TO AUDIT Auditors are welcome. There is no registration deadline for auditors and tickets will also be available at the door before each class.
TO PERFORM Requirements for master class performers vary with each master teacher. Musicians who wish to perform should visit the master class listing (coming soon!) and follow instructions.
FRANKLIN POND CHAMBER MUSIC COMPETITION
RESIDENCY opportunities occur when a talented Spivey Hall artist generously offers their time for a community interaction such as a master class or an in-school performance. Appropriate school partners are engaged to host these opportunities. To be considered for future opportunities please contact Spivey Hall Education.
