About the Primary Health Clinic

Clayton State University’s Primary Health Clinic is a community-based health center housed inside Clayton State’s University Health Services (UHS) facility at Clayton Station. The clinic is owned by the University and sponsored by a Georgia Board of Regents grant. The clinic is managed by a family nurse practitioner (FNP), who works in collaboration with a physician.

Family nurse practitioners are registered nurses who have earned a masters or doctoral degree in nursing. Our providers are board certified in family medicine, and can diagnose and treat patients of all ages. We are committed to providing the very best medical care and treatment to our patients and to enlist our patients as partners in their own health and wellness care.

Prompt appointments (often same day appointments) and extended hours are part of our comprehensive approach to healthcare for our patients.
