John E. Parkerson, Jr., director of the Office of International Programs at Clayton State University, president of the World Trade Center Atlanta (WTCA), and honorary consul of Hungary for the southeastern United States, will be co-hosting the Atlanta World Showcase and Governor's Awards Dinner tomorrow night. Joining Parkerson and WTCA in hosting the event will be the Atlanta Business Chronicle and publisher Ed Baker.
The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Georgia International Conference Center, starting with the World Showcase at 5 p.m.
Each year, the WTCA co-sponsors, with the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Governors International Awards dinner and related World Showcase, to honor businesses, organizations, and individuals leading in global commerce. The awards will include; International Education, International New Company, International Trade, International Individual of the Year, International Deal of the Year, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
