Dr. Gregory V. McNamara of Clayton State University’s department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences has accepted an appointment as site director for the University System of Georgia’s (USG) European Council at London’s University College for the summer of 2012
McNamara has been teaching in the department of English at Clayton State with great inspiration to the students that have taken him for either a Shakespeare or British Literature course. The program for summer 2012 is a five-week course of study that is based at University College London and attracts students and faculty from across Georgia. For the summer of 2011, McNamara is appointed as program director fellow to the London program.
Although both appointments will include teaching and administrative duties, he will be taking on additional administrative duties as site director while also teaching Shakespeare in the program in 2012.
