Dear Faculty and Staff,
The Department of Public Safety has announced new parking decal options for the upcoming school year.
Faculty and Staff (f/s) can purchase a one-year parking permit for the 2019-20 fiscal year.
This one-year permit allows the Department of Public Safety the opportunity to explore several parking decals recommendations made by the parking committee to improve the permitting decal process. These recommendations include the adoption of a yearly decal and a perpetual hang tag as a replacement for our parking decals.
The one-year decal is available for the 2019-20 year to allow Public Safety time to transition to the new decal and hangtag system for Fall 2020.
Costs for the one-year decal will follow the same structure as before:
Salary more than $25K – $20 per semester
Salary less than $25K – $10 per semester
Payment options for the one-year decal are as follows:
Option 1 (Cash – Full Year)
Make a cash payment for the full year (Fall/Spring)- Salary > $25K: $40 OR Salary < $25K: $20
- F/S member agrees to a one-time payment of the full fee. If a f/s member leaves in the spring, a partial refund (prorated by remaining weeks) will be returned upon clearance and turning in the parking decal to the Department of Public Safety.
Option 2 (Payroll deduction – Full Year)
Elect a one-time payroll deduction – (prorated by remaining weeks) for the full year (Fall/Spring)- Salary > $25K: $40 OR Salary < $25K: $20
- F/S member agrees to a one-time payroll deduction of the full fee. If a f/s member leaves in the spring, a partial refund will be returned upon clearance and turning in the parking decal to the Department of Public Safety.
Option 3 (Payroll Deduction – Fall/ Spring Semester)
Elect a payroll deduction of two payments-
Fall Semester- Salary > $25K: $20 OR Salary < $25K: $10
Spring Semester- Salary > $25K: $20 OR Salary < $25K: $10
- F/S member signs agreement for payment through automatic payroll deductions for fall and spring semesters.
All Faculty and Staff that park a car on campus are required to have a valid parking decal. Those that don’t must complete a form indicating they are using alternative methods.
