Clayton State will continue with its normal operations for Monday, January 9.
Areas surrounding metro Atlanta may still be affected by winter weather. Students and staff who are concerned about reaching campus should work with their instructors and supervisors on alternatives.
Campus roadways and sidewalks are in good condition, however continued caution is encouraged. Please report any areas that may need ice treatment by calling (678) 466-4050.

Due to winter weather concerns, Clayton State will be closing Friday, Jan. 6, at 2p.m. All Saturday and Sunday campus activities are also cancelled.
The closure follows Gov. Nathan Deal's declaration of a state of emergency.
The safety of Clayton Sate students and employees is of utmost concern; all are encouraged to use good judgment when planning travels. Managers should work with employees with their well being in mind, including staggering dismissal throughout the day depending on conditions.
Monday’s status will be determined and posted to clayton.edu. Updates will be posted as they are confirmed.
The University will continue monitoring conditions. Any updates or changes will be posted to the Clayton State website as well as its Facebook page and Twitter account.
No dining services are available Friday and Saturday as previously planned. The Dining Hall in the University Center will open Sunday, 4 – 6 p.m.
Due to the impending inclement weather, residential students returning or moving in today should do so by 2:00 p.m.
New Student Orientation
Currently scheduled for Friday, January 5 at 10 a.m. in the Student Activities Center. Orientation will be expedited so that the session can end earlier than originally planned.
Student Activities Center
The SAC will remain open today until 6p.m. Saturday’s hours of operation are still pending. It is expected to re-open with regular hours on Sunday: 2pm-8pm.
Men’s and Women’s Basketball

LEGO League Competition
The LEGO League Competition originally scheduled for Saturday, January 7 will be rescheduled to January 21.
