The Office of International Education and Programs is a major hub of international activity on the campus. Working closely with colleges and departments, the office plays an important role in Clayton State's mission to produce graduates who have international, cross-cultural and comparative competencies to function in an increasingly interdependent world in which many issues we confront today are transnational, indeed global, in scope. As the lead institution and headquarters of the Nine University and College International Studies Consortium of Georgia, Clayton State shares its expertise in international education and works with more than a dozen four and two-year colleges of the University System of Georgia by offering resources, activities and programs related to global issues and world regions.
As the Chief International Officer for the University, Raj Sashti's responsibilities include oversight and enhancement of all international education activities including curriculum and faculty development, study abroad programs, providing support services for international students, the Intensive English Language Program and business and community outreach.
