Student Employment is a great way for students to gain experience in a job setting and build their resume. At Clayton State, we offer both on and off campus opportunities, as well as internships. Take the first steps to finding a job by accessing the University’s student job portal, LakerCareer Zone. Managed by the Office of Career Services, the job board lists current job opportunities for students.

Professionalism 101 Workshop

As part of Clayton State University’s EDGE initiative, students are encouraged to participate in the Professionalism 101 Workshop hosted by the Office of Career Services. In the workshop, you will learn effective communication skills, enhance your self-image, and develop a business-savvy wardrobe and appropriate work ethic to enhance your ability to receive and maintain internships and jobs.

Hired on-campus student assistants are required to take this course.
