MUSC 3614 Music History Survey I is the first course of the two-semester music history sequence required for all music degree curricula since fall of 2012.  It is typically taken in the fall semester of the junior year.  This course includes large amounts of required reading, listening, score study, and writing.  Students will need to devote significant amounts of study and listening time to prepare for each class meeting.  Dr. Zeller is not teaching this course in the 2017-2018 academic year.

MUSC 3615 Music History Survey II is the second course of the two-semester music history sequence required for all music degree curricula since fall of 2012.  It is typically taken in the spring semester of the junior year.  This course includes large amounts of required reading, listening, score study, and writing.  Students will need to devote significant amounts of study and listening time to prepare for each class meeting.  Dr. Zeller is not teaching this course in the 2017-2018 academic year.

MUSC 3613 Music History III

 
 
 
MUSC 3613 Music History III is the final course in the three-semester Music History sequence.  It begins where MUSC 3612 Music History II leaves off and comes as close as possible to the present.  It is offered in the Spring 2012 semester and is likely to be offered one more time, in the Spring 2013 semester, before the Division of Music begins offering a new Music History course sequence.  This course includes large amounts of required reading, listening, score study, and writing.

This course and the sequence of which it was part have been discontinued.  The successor sequence is MUSC 3614 and MUSC 3615.
