His academic and research interests include physical and organometallic chemistry. More specifically, he is interested in the reactions of metal atoms and clusters with small molecules. Dr. Lyon serves as an advisor for students majoring in chemistry and pre-pharmacy and acts as a co-advisor for the Go Green student organization, which deals with environmental concerns on our campus.
