Things That I Like
(Other than Psychology)
husband is a
psychologist at the Atlanta VAMC, and my son Fletcher is 8 years old.
My Dogs (Lucy & Mazzy) and
Cats (Sam and Stella):
(I've been a vegetarian for many years now. It really helped me expand the variety of food I eat, and also
causes me to eat healthier--no fast food, for the most part.)
www.smittenkitchen.com: My current favorite food blog. The author, Deb, is an excellent baker as well as cook, and since I love baking, I consult this site often!
This is a great recipe site for all types of cooking, not just vegetarian.
It does have a lot of vegetarian recipes, and I like the fact that the recipes
are rated and commented upon by folks who have tried them. It helps you
choose the best ones that others have already said are tasty. Looking at
the variety of vegetarian recipes here can prove that, no, I don't just eat nuts
www.goveg.com: This is
a site from PETA; whatever you may think of them and their sometimes crazy
antics, this page has a good link to a "Vegetarian Starter Kit" that
can get you started if you are new to the world of veggies.
of great info. One great section is the "New Veggies" link,
meaning lots of info. on being a new vegetarian, becoming a vegetarian,
nutritional info. for new vegetarians, etc.
