First-Year Writing @ Clayton State University

Clayton State offers a major in English, with emphases in Writing, Literature, or Secondary Education. We also offer a minor in English with emphases in Writing or Literature. In addition, note that one of the number one skills employers seek is the ability to communicate effectively in writing. Thus, many of our writing courses would be extremely effective career preparation and may count as elective credit in other majors; (be sure to see the Course Catalog for specific requirements).
