There are several ways to get help with your eCore class:
If there is anything you don't understand about your instructor's expectations or the course content, contact your instructor using the discussion board or the mail tool in the course.
If you have any other questions about eCore, or just need some advice, contact your eCore advisor:
The eCore Helpdesk is available during business hours to answer your questions. Contact them at (678) 839-5300. If you have problems accessing your eCore course in GaView, you will want to contact The Online Support Center at http://help8.view.usg.edu. A link to their website can also be found on the main eCore login page. Be sure to review the Login and Password information below.
The eCore Student Success Manager will help you resolve any issues related to eCore. Please call (678) 839-0632 or (678) 466-5300 and ask to speak to the eCore Student Success Manager if you need as if you need assistance.

Don't forget about the library services at Clayton State. Online students receive special library support services such as individualized research consultation by phone, fax, e-mail or in person, and direct delivery of articles and books from the Clayton State Library for online students who cannot reasonably access an adequate library in their area. You can also receive assistance with connecting to online databases available through GALILEO, the statewide virtual library. Each semester that you are an eCore student, you will be provided a password to access GALILEO. Visit www.clayton.edu/library to view the full range of services available.
Need a solution to a software or hardware computer problem?
If you encounter software or hardware problems with your computer, The HUB may rescue you. The HUB provides a free service to eCore students enrolled through Clayton State. They will help you find solutions to your software and/or hardware problems with your personal computer. As an eCore student at Clayton State, you may opt to participate in the Microsoft Campus Agreement. This will allow you to obtain certain Microsoft software at no cost.

If you find yourself struggling in your eCore course(s), please ask for help. There are several tutoring resources available to you:
Smartthinking is an online tutoring service available to all eCore students needing help in Math, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Spanish, and Writing. Tutoring is available through Smartthinking 24/7. Information regarding Smartthinking is provided to you in the Course Resources folder inside your eCore course.
The Clayton State University Center for Academic Success (http://www.clayton.edu/cas) offers free academic support services to students including peer tutoring, academic success workshops, study strategy assessments, and instructional software programs. In addition, there are a variety of online study tips, links to helpful sites, and printable handouts. Friendly academic support is only a phone call away. Do not hesitate to give the Center for Academic Success a call and schedule an appointment with a tutor at (678) 466-4070. Also, ask about the upcoming online peer tutoring and writing assistance. Math tutoring is available by appointment or drop-in hours.
