Laker Care Closet

The Laker Care Closet was established in 2011 as an initiative of Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity, Campus Life, and Counseling and Psychological Services to address food and clothing insecurities on campus. The Laker Care Closet allows the Clayton State community the opportunity to serve its own population by providing our students who express a need with basic living necessities such as food and clothing. Interested individuals, departments, and student groups can support the Laker Care Closet in several ways:

DONATE FOOD AND CLOTHING ITEMS! Common items that we always need include:

  • Boxed macaroni and cheese
  • Instant mashed potatoes
  • Dry pasta and pasta sauce
  • Canned soups, vegetables, and meat (tuna or chicken)
  • Rice
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Boxed juices
  • Cereal
  • Canned fruit, fruit cups, and fruit snacks
  • Men's Business Professional Clothing
  • Women's Business Professional Clothing

HOST YOUR OWN DONATION DRIVE WITH PROCEEDS BENEFITING THE LAKER CARE CLOSET! Let us know when you will host your donation drive and we will be happy to assist with pick up and/or transport of the items to the closet.
