The American Democracy Project at Clayton State University has been invited to attend this event being hosted by Northern Kentucky University's Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement.

"Covering the Capitol: May You Live in Interesting Times: The proverb, or curse, "may you live in interesting times," certainly applies for the journalists covering national politics and policy in 2020. An impeachment. A pandemic. A resurgence of concern about systemic racisim. And, of course, an election. It's been nothing if not interesting. Julie Pace, the Washington bureau chief for The Associated Press, will reflect on her reporting team's challenges, talk about AP's decision-making about its coverage, and provide an inside view of journalism in the nations's Capital City."

This event is free to attend and is open to the faculty, staff, students, and the general public. You may RSVP at https://nku.eventsair.com/shcce/nkyforum/Site/Register
