Time to get registered, get involved and get ready! National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday celebrating our democracy. First observed in 2012, it has quickly gained momentum ever since. Nearly 4.5 million voters have registered to vote on the holiday to date. For the 4th year in a row, the Clayton State Library is partnering with the Political Science program to host a voter registration drive on National Voter Registration Day. Where: Clayton State University Library room L-200 (Upper Level near courtyard entrance) and online at clayton.libguides.com/NVRD What: Trained volunteers will be on-hand to help you get registered to vote and answer your questions about voter registration. When: Tuesday, September 28, 9am - 4pm Why: It's never too early to register to vote, update your registration, or check your status. There may not be any statewide or national elections this year, but there are local elections this fall that can directly impact you and your community.
