About The Center for Supply Chain Management
Clayton State University’s College of Business recognized the need for a comprehensive program and established the Center for Supply Chain Management in 2011 to cultivate a pool of knowledgeable individuals and organizations poised to facilitate the links from supplier to customer.
The Center focuses on supply chain management in the global economy and specializes in supplier relationships, purchasing management, operations and inventory management, logistics and transportation and quality measurement, along with supply chain and information technology to improve the financial performance of participating firms.
To be increasingly recognized throughout the Metropolitan and Southeast Atlanta Regions for the excellence of supply chain management programs, the quality and caliber of services, the willingness to meet needs of the business community and the exposure of graduates to the supply chain profession.
To provide individuals and organizations with knowledge and skills to drive superior business results through the understanding and application of supply chain management concepts, processes and tools.
