COVID-19 Update: Everyone’s health and safety is among our highest priorities at Clayton State. Our campus tour group size has greatly been reduced in order to account for proper physical distance measures. Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout campus.

Effective Thursday, May 13, 2021, fully vaccinated members of the Clayton State community are welcome to resume campus classes and other activities without wearing a mask. Unvaccinated individuals are strongly encouraged to continue wearing a face covering while inside campus facilities. Any individual, regardless of vaccination status, may wear a face covering.

Per CDC guidance, offices such as health clinics may still require face coverings.

Virtual 1-on-1 meetings are offered most Monday-Friday mornings at 11:00am and afternoons at 3:00pm with one of our Admissions Recruiters. These are designed for you to ask questions, learn more about our admissions process, and further explore Clayton State. You are welcome to invite your parent(s) or school counselor to join you in this meeting too!

Virtual meetings can be accessed with a video call on Microsoft Teams via your smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer, or with an audio call over the phone if preferred.

Freshman Admission Virtual Information Session

Offered most Tuesdays at 3:30-4:15pm, you’ll be led on a virtual presentation by an Admissions Recruiter covering the application process and steps to enrollment in depth. We'll highlight the academic and social parts of first-year student life, and many more topics in order to get you ready to become a Laker. Time at the end will allow for Q&A with our Admissions staff.

If you’re a Transfer/Non-Traditional student with college credits, come gather some valuable information about Clayton State during Transfer/Non-Trad Tuesday. You’ll get a chance to become familiar with all the resources that Clayton State University offer to serve adult students.

Affordability and Financial Aid Virtual Information Session

Offered most Thursdays at 5:30pm-6:15pm, this virtual session will cover the financial aid checklist: how and when to apply, understanding the vocabulary, and completing the steps before classes begin to secure your enrollment. Attend this session to learn about scholarships and grants, state and federal aid opportunities, resources for private scholarships, and how to read your financial aid award letter. Your dream of graduating from Clayton State is more affordable than you may think!

Campus tours are offered most Monday-Friday mornings at 10:00am and afternoons at 2:00pm and include a 60-minute guided walking tour. We ask visitors to limit their groups to no more than 2 accompanying guests if possible.

Large Group Tour

Large Group Tour

Thank you for choosing Clayton State University. We invite you to visit our beautiful campus for a guided tour. The 60-minute guided walking tour will accommodate groups of 18-50 guests. The student/chaperone ratio requirement is 10:1.

Request your large group tour at least seven (7) business days prior to your desired visit date.

Laker Experience

The Laker Experience Visit

High school counselors, faculty, and administrators seeking to introduce students to college life at Clayton State University can participate in the Laker Experience Visit. The Laker Experience Visit is a specialized tour tailored for sophomore, junior, and senior students. This tour is an opportunity for your high school students to experience an introspective view and learn more about Clayton State!

Submit your tour request at least fourteen (14) business days prior to your desired visit date. The 60-minute guided walking tour will accommodate groups of 18-154 guests. The student/chaperone ratio requirement is 10:1.

Self Guided Tour

Self-Guided Tour

The road to college starts early. Therefore, we have designed the Self-Guided Group Tour for elementary and middle school students. Young scholars experience the campus through a scavenger hunt designed to familiarize them with Clayton State.

With a scavenger hunt worksheet in hand, students have 60 minutes to locate the special things that make Clayton State great. Our knowledgeable tour coordinators will check in on your group to offer helpful hints or answer any questions.

The tour ends with a fun photo opportunity so you can take home a commemorative picture of your visit to our beautiful campus.

Self-Guided tours are available during fall and spring on Fridays at 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., or 10:00 a.m. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch from your school or you may purchase lunch for your group at our dining hall.
