62 and Older

Georgia citizens 62 years of age and older are eligible to attend Clayton State without having to pay course and student fees. This special program is open on a space-available basis.

Interested applicants must:

  • Meet all regular admission requirements to the University
  • Be a Georgia resident
  • Present proof of age

Application Requirements

There are two ways to complete an application for admissions. Apply online via GA Futures or download a paper application .

A paper application must be completed if submitting an application fee waiver.  Fee waivers cannot be attached to the online application at this time.  Access our Fee Waiver policy for more details.

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable $40.00 application fee. Online applicants must use a credit or debit card to pay the application fee.

Certificate of Immunization

Official Transcript(s)

Applicants must submit an official transcript from each high school, college or university previously attended. 

If you have attended college previously and have more than 30 semesters of transferable credit, you will be considered a transfer student. Review admissions requirements for transfer students.

We currently accept electronic transcripts from E-Transcript providers such as:

  • eSCRIP
  • Clearinghouse
  • Parchment

Senior Citizen Waiver Form

Complete and submit a Senior Citizen Waiver Form with required documentation.
