Admitted Students

You have been admitted to Clayton State University. Now is the time to make your dreams real in a supportive environment where your time will be marked by engaging learning experiences.

Complete your enrollment—including applying for financial aid, registering for New Student Orientation, and signing up for on-campus housing—with our New Student Checklist.

Get acquainted with the campus during New Student Orientation. This mandatory event will get you familiar with all the services and resources available at Clayton State. You’ll also get a chance to meet students and faculty.

We offer two options for students in need of comfortable, affordable on-campus housing. Laker Hall is our freshman residence, which features a lounge, pool, and fully-furnished rooms. Laker Village houses undergraduate students in apartment-style accommodations. Find the comforts of home in our University Housing.

Students seeking federal financial aid, as well as a number of state financial aid programs including HOPE, must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This can be done electronically online, or with the paper form by mail.

For instructions and questions on how to complete FAFSA, please refer to our Financial Aid website

You can check for account holds through your student account (DUCK). If you have not set up your SWAN portal, you can refer to this page.

Submit your Certificate of Immunization to University Health Services via the Patient Portal.

Submit your Verification of Lawful Presence to the Admissions office (Georgia Residents).
