FREE Group Fitness Classes
The Department of Recreation & Wellness offers 15-20 group fitness classes per week during the Fall and Spring semesters and a reduced schedule of about 10 classes a week each summer. Classes are FREE to all current Clayton State University students and Fitness Center members. Clayton State University Faculty and staff can purchase Punch Passes to attend fitness classes on a drop in basis without purchasing a monthly membership (see below). Classes are located in the Group fitness studios on the second floor of the SAC Fitness Center. All classes are instructed by certified group exercise instructors and are categorized into three different formats: cardiovascular/strength, mind/body, and dance. No matter the fitness level, gender, interest, or background, the Group fitness program has a class for everyone. Classes are offered year-round during each academic semester and are scheduled around the class schedule matrix for the University.
Please take a moment to give us some feedback about your group fitness experience!
