The purpose of the PACE travel stipend program is to support professional development for Clayton State University full-time faculty or staff seeking to expand their understanding of community engagement pedagogy or contribute to their field by presenting original research on the use of such pedagogies. Stipends must be used to pay for or supplement travel to conferences or workshops focused on community engagement to meet course learning outcomes, or the mechanics of developing and executing academic community engagement projects. Stipends may also be used to support presentation of original research on community engagement pedagogies at discipline specific conferences.
Please refer to http://www.clayton.edu/accounting-services/expenses/travel/faqs for University policies regarding travel and reimbursement for specific timelines and acceptable expenses.
