Clayton State University was ranked no. 17 among colleges and universities in Georgia for giving students a strong chance at repaying debt. The University was included in the second annual Student Debt Repayment Success Indicator (SDRSI) report by The Student Loan Report.
Clayton State was also ranked no. 700 in the nation against thousands of other colleges and universities.
The SDRSI is an indicator that involves several financial aid and career metrics including early career salary, student loan default rate, and average student loan debt per borrower. The SDRSI is an extremely useful tool for gauging how likely students are to be successful in student loan repayment after graduation.
This report relied on several datasets including federal repayment data from the Department of Education, data from Peterson’s Financial Aid dataset, and early career data from PayScale.
