Dr. Hynes was recently honored as an influential educational leader in the community. Hynes was one of five individuals to receive the Pillars of Clayton County at the Pillars Luncheon on March 21.
The awards were created by the Good Shepherd Clinic, a nonprofit organization that offers primary medical care to low-income residents in Clayton County. Every March, the clinic recognizes extraordinary members of our community who work for the betterment of Clayton County.
Honorees are selected from a number of disciplines including Education, Business, Medicine, Law and Ministry.
In addition to Hynes, Jim Baker, whose namesake is on Clayton State’s University Center, was also honored as a business pillar.
