The statewide Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is launching new program, “StartSmart-Expertise for New Businesses,” and eight-week series offered in three-hour segments.
Locally, the Clayton State University SBDC will be starting classes on Tuesday, Apr. 16 at the Henry County Chamber of Commerce in McDonough. The series will be held every Tuesday night through June 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Henry Chamber, 1709 Georgia Hwy. 20 West, McDonough.
The program’s eight weekly modules will include:
Module 1: Foundations for a Successful Business
Module 2: Marketing Research & Analysis
Module 3: Capturing the Market
Module 4: Efficient Operations
Module 5: Financial Foundations
Module 6: Financial Plan
Module 7: Bringing it All Together
Module 8: Implementation & Presentations
The series cost is $495, however, Clayton State’s SBDC has a limited number of $300 scholarships available.
