“It is an honor for the RN Completion Program in the School of Nursing at Clayton State University to be nationally recognized as one of the most affordable programs for professional Registered Nurses,” says Dr. Debra J. Cody, RN Completion Program Coordinator. “The increasing demand for baccalaureate prepared nurses has positioned Clayton State to be able to provide an affordable opportunity for nurses seeking to advance their education and careers. Competitive tuition, fees, individual advisement, and small class sizes make the program unique.”
The University’s registered nursing degree programs were assessed for tuition rates, number of online programs offered, financial aid accessibility and student-to-teacher ratio.
The program was recognized for its online RN to BSN degree, which offers courses in leadership, communication, research, health assessment and personal issues.
The program, which is entirely online, offers a 90-hour clinical practicum.
The School of Nursing also offers students an online M.S. in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner degree.
“We wanted to highlight the schools in each state that are driving innovative learning and meeting demands of students,” said Dan Schuessler, CEO and Founder of AC Online. “These schools are not only offering great programs, but they have expanded their program excellence to the much-desired online environment.”
