Maia Kuhnen becomes first Clayton State student-athlete to reach Top-30 for NCAA Woman of the Year

Having already concluded her illustrious career as a Laker, Maia Kuhnen (Trier, Germany) has accomplished something no other individual in program history has as she has been named one of 30 national finalists for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award, and one of 10 from Division II, as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday, September 7.

Kuhnen is the first Clayton State student-athlete to advance to the Top-30 and is the only international student-athlete among those 30 nominees, as listed on official institution rosters.
