State Charitable Contribution Program Now Underway
Clayton State University’s State Charitable Contribution Program (SCCP) 2013 Campaign will run through Nov. 30. Be on the lookout for SCCP campaign brochures now being delivered to your department.
Last year, State of Georgia and University System employees pledged more than $1.5 million to charitable organizations in our communities, our state and around the world.
Making a contribution is easy! You can take advantage of payroll deduction to give the charities you care about a consistent cash flow throughout the year, enabling them to continue their crucial work. You can sign up for payroll deduction for as little as $1 per pay period. This might sound like a nominal amount, but imagine the cumulative effect of adding your donations to those of other state employees.
To Register on the SCCP On-line Pledge Site you will need your ADP Employee ID. It can be found on the SWAN Work Life tab near the middle of the page.
Go to the site:
https://www.giveattheoffice.org/_sccp/
At the Home page Click “Yes” to “Is this your first time logging into the system?”
Select your “subdivision” from the list (Colleges and University), or use the key word search (enter Clayton State University) to narrow the list.
Select Clayton State University and complete the Step 2 Form.
Enter your first and last name as it appears on your paystub.
Enter your email address and create a user name and password.
You will receive a confirmation email once you click “register me”.
Now you can login and make a pledge.
For assistance, contact
VickieSmith@clayton.edu.
A full listing of all Participating Charities is available at
http://www.spa.ga.gov/employees/sccp_Main/sccp_app.asp.
The charities in the campaign cover a wide range of health, welfare, environmental and educational programs. This year, the Clayton State University Foundation, Inc., was added to the list.
Don’t hesitate to contact Vickie Smith by phone, (678) 466-4283, or email
vickiesmith@clayton.edu, if you have questions about the Contribution Campaign or need assistance with the on-line process.
