New Mileage Reimbursement Rates
The State Accounting Office of Georgia recently issued a memorandum, setting the mileage reimbursement rates for the remainder of Calendar Year 2012. A copy of the memorandum has been posted to the Accounting Services’ Expense webpage at http://www.clayton.edu/portals/3/docs/ mileage-reimbursement-rates.pdf
The following rates apply to travel occurring on or after Apr. 17, 2012:
Tier 1 Rates: Automobile $0.555 per mile
Motorcycle $0.525 per mile
Aircraft $1.31 per mile
Tier 2 Rate: All Types $0.23 per mile
We have made a concerted effort to manually update pending travel and AP reimbursement requests which qualify for the higher reimbursement rates. However, we may have missed someone!
If you have already received payment on an expense report for mileage reimbursement on travel occurring on or after Apr. 17, 2012, and were inadvertently reimbursed at the old rates, please immediately submit an additional reimbursement request for the difference owed. For more details, please contact Shirley Criscillis.

"It was a sunset luau on a Hawaiian beach to celebrate Chase Diamond's 33rd birthday. Chase, a private eye with his own Maui-based detective agency, was a man willing to take big risks to get results for his clients. Diamond had a reputation for romancing too many ladies at the same time. Chase, in a celebrating mood, raised his glass to toast the friends who had gathered for his party. He took one swallow and immediately fell to the ground... stone dead. It was not just a case of Chase having one too many drinks... his Mai Tai had been spiked with deadly poison. Each of the suspects had something to hide. Each had a motive to kill. Which one of them did it?"
Individuals who fancy themselves a Sherlock Holmes, or just a regular detective, or a clairvoyant, or who just like a good luau, are invited to join Foote for an evening that begins with a murder and climaxes with clues and a dinner buffet.
