Clayton State University Assistant Professor of Management Dr. Leon Prieto is the co-author of an editorial published in today’s issue of Diverse: Issues in Higher Education
Entitled “Social Entrepreneur Development: Unleashing the Potential of African-American and Hispanic Undergraduate Students,” the article appears on page 23 and at http://mydigimag.rrd.com/publication/?i=161229
on the web. Among other points, the article offers three tips that universities can implement to help minority undergraduates become social entrepreneurs: offer classes in social entrepreneurship; assess, challenge and support; and provide access to professional and social networks.
Prieto co-authored the editorial with Dr. Simone T. A. Phipps, assistant professor of management at Middle Georgia State College in Macon, Ga.
