On Thursday, Apr. 26, Clayton State University will be one of 13 colleges and universities represented in CollegeWeekLive’s first-ever Georgia Colleges Day. Georgia Colleges Day is an online college fair that will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., and will feature only higher education institutions within the state of Georgia. Previously, Clayton State University has participated in CollegeWeekLive’s annual international online fall and spring College Fairs and two virtual open houses.
At the Georgia Colleges Day, prospective students and their parents will be able to log in and “visit” virtual booths, read information through weblinks and online documents, watch posted videos, text chat with admissions counselors, and take part in interactive video web chats. Clayton State University’s booth will be open throughout the event, and has set text chat hours for 3 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Penny Brooks, associate director for Recruitment and Marketing with the Clayton State Office of Recruitment and Admissions, will give an hour-long live video presentation about Clayton State at 6 p.m.
CollegeWeekLive is a free, online program designed to connect prospective students with colleges and universities in a live, interactive environment. CollegeWeekLive events are held several times per year. To participate in CollegeWeekLive events (including Georgia Colleges Day), prospective students and parents should register at www.collegeweeklive.com.
