Clayton State ranks among the top in U.S. News and World Report rankings
Clayton State University has been ranked among the nation’s top 140 universities in the South, according to the 2017 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings.
The national newsmagazine classifies regional universities as institutions that offer a full range of undergraduate majors and master’s programs, and some doctoral programs. Clayton State joined several other Georgia schools, including the University of North Georgia, Brenau University and Savannah State University, in the rankings.
The U.S. News & World Report rankings are based on several measures including graduation and retention rates, assessment of excellence, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, graduate rate performance and alumni giving.
